As part of Portuguese Medinfar Group, Farmalabor is a Company specialized in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and veterinary use products, as well as other services related to the pharmaceutical business.

In a context of globalization of markets, in addition to its function as a product and pharmaceutical services’s supplier to the Group Medinfar, Farmalabor is present in national and international markets.

Factors such as technology, flexibility and commitment to quality are crucial to keep the competitiveness and the ability to respond to the high standards requests of these markets.

Accordingly, and with the aim of the strict compliance with international requirements of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), Farmalabor obtained its Certification in Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, issued by INFARMED, as well as Certification according to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality).

Aware of environmental liabilities resulting from industrial activity, as well as the importance of safety and welfare of its employees, Farmalabor has integrated into their daily lives a culture of constant monitoring of these values, resulting in Environmental Certification by ISO 14001:2004 and Hygiene and Safety Certification - OHSAS 18001.

Built in an area of 47 000m2 and employing about 140 people, Farmalabor produces annually about 10.000.000 packages.
